Einladung zum Kolloquium Automatisierungstechnik

Prof. Bijnan Bandyopadhyay (IEEE Life Fellow) spricht über das Thema:

Modeling and Control of Large-Size Nuclear Reactor

Ort: Gebäude ID, Etage 2, Raum 553
Termin: Mittwoch, 29. Juli 2026, 11:30 Uhr, ID 2/553

A suitable approach for modeling and control of large technical systems will be shown at the example of a large Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR). At first, the flux equations of two energy groups will be discussed. It will be shown how these two group equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by using the nodal techniques. By applying one and half group theory these equations will be converted into one effective group power equations for all the nodes. Finally, a linear model of 70th order, with 14 inputs and 14 outputs will be obtained in state space.  The design of a sliding mode controller will be discussed for this reactor model and its  efficacy will be illustrated by nonlinear simulation.

Alle Interessenten sind herzlich eingeladen!
